I noticed that when the children were grown and established in their own lives I began thinking about different kinds of things. Looking around at my possessions, I began to wonder why I wanted all that stuff? A new freedom came to me when I realized that I was under no obligation to keep on in the same manner… I had the freedom to make new choices! I began to dream and think about what I wanted to do with the near future.
Life has changed a lot since I started to put some action steps in place that helped me move toward the new ideas that were taking shape in my mind. I was enjoying the embrace of a vision for freedom and change.
The first thing I did was to start getting rid of “stuff” that was cluttering up my home. Soon I found myself deciding that the large number books I no longer wanted had some monetary value, so I began to sell them on line. The “rule” was, never pay for inventory or packing materials. I made some nice extra money during that season.
Try it. Look around and think about what could be different right now. Then take steps to move into a new, fresh idea.
